Early life:
Nibaron Chandra Chakraborty was born in 1884 at Natakhola, a village of Manikganj district, Dhaka which is situated on the banks of Padma river in Harirampur area. He was the son of Hindu Brahmin family. His father Shri Mahesh Chakraborty was a Hindu priest. After marrying his wife Haripriya Devi, they moved to Gopalpur village and settled there. He had three sons and three daughters.
Nibaron Chakraborty was a bright student from his childhood. But they are belonged very poor family. He did not have enough money to pursue higher education. He completed his education in Manikganj. He had a lot of interest in Hindu scriptures.
Works:
School Establishment
In his village, child education rate was very low so he decided to establish a primary school for the development of education of children in his village. So he established a school in Maniknagar village in 1967. Through this the education of the children of this area is spread. Later the Government of Bangladesh made it official and named it 26th Maniknagar Government Primary School. He served as the headmaster of that school until his retirement.
Temple Establishment
In 1917 he established a Narayan temple. At first it was located at Natakhola village and later it was shifted to Gopalpur village. This temple has a very awake Narayan 'Shalgram Shila'. He has served many people through this temple. The temple is currently renovated by his grandson Subimal Chakraborty. Annual worship is held in this temple now which is about one hundred and three years old.
